Jenny McCarthy started her career as a comedienne on a MTV game show and as a playboy playmate. There was always something special about her from the start. She was beautiful, funny and smart - an undeniable combination. She always made fun of herself rather than others. Underneath it all is a funny caring soul.
.
She has written three bestselling books about motherhood. The first two books explore pregnancy and raising a newborn from a comedic point of view. The third book is about her dealing with her son's diagnoses of autism. (Her books "Belly Laughs","Baby Laughs" and "Louder Than Words" can be found at www.amazon.com.)

You can search on http://www.youtube.com/ for videos of her various appearances on Larry King, Oprah. the view etc. Autism finally has a face to preach to the world. She is a fellow mother that has listened to other mom's of autistic children and is collecting all of their frustrations and screaming them from the roof tops.
.
She makes her points with conviction and this past week on a panel on Larry King she told it like it was. When Dr. Harvey Karp gave a pat PR one liner concerning the connection between Immunizations and autism, Jenny said "Bullshit". Just like a frustrated mother would do. But more importantly, when Dr. Taylor was "Claiming" that he sees 100,000 children a year and has never had a single case of Vaccination Injury, she asked a painful poignant question. "Are we considered acceptable loses?"
.
Jenny McCarthy is not anti-vaccine. She wants a better vaccine schedule and she wants the CDC to remove the toxins from the vaccines. (such as: mercury, antifreeze, ammonium, aluminum, formaldehyde, etc. Google: "toxins in vaccines" for a more comprehensive list).
.
The vaccine schedule for children in 1983 was 10 shots.
The vaccine schedule for children in 2008 is 36 shots.
In this time frame, autism in children has increased by 6,000%.
SIX THOUSAND PERCENT !!!
That is a statistic worth looking at more carefully.
....
Sometimes "Bullshit" needs to be said on National Television.
.
And to the smart, beautiful, funny and courageous Jenny McCarthy, I say "Brava."
